Birthday wishes on Discord
Members save their own birthday and DogMate posts wishes with an animated card at the time you choose. Every reaction adds that person's name to the card, so everyone sees who remembered.

Step by step
- Turn on birthdays. In the dashboard open Birthdays and switch the module on.
- Pick the channel and the time. Wishes go out every day at the hour you set, in your server's time zone (you can change it with
/timezone). - Let members add their date. Everyone types:
The year is optional. Add it only if you want the age shown./birthday set day:15 month:10 - Check the list.
/birthday listshows today's and upcoming birthdays, and/birthday showshows your own saved date.
Extras you can turn on
- Birthday role for the day, for example
@Birthday. - Monthly overview: on the 1st of each month a graphic with everyone's birthdays that month.
- A keepsake by DM: late in the evening the birthday person gets the card with the names of everyone who sent wishes.
- Change limit: how often a date can be changed, for example once every 90 days, so nobody has a birthday every week.
Privacy
Nobody has to share their birthday. Each person decides with /birthday set and can delete the date at any time with /birthday remove.
Common problems
Wishes came at the wrong hour
Set your server's time zone with /timezone, for example Europe/London.
The birthday role is not given
